YEC Group, a tech-company specializing in the development of software and digital solutions for businesses, today announced that it has been awarded B Corp certification issued after a verification process by the nonprofit network B Lab, which aims to accelerate behavioral, cultural and structural change by promoting an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system that benefits people, communities and the Planet.

B Corp certification measures a company's social and environmental impact according to the standards set forth in the B Impact Assessment (BIA). The assessment process analyzes corporate practices and results by considering five different categories: governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

Founded in 2016 by Simone Dal Pont and Marco Cekada, YEC Group is a tech-company that develops custom software and innovative digital solutions to help businesses optimize their processes and increase productivity. The company focuses on creating web platforms, management, e-commerce and mobile applications. The group is committed to social work, supporting volunteer initiatives and free consulting for nonprofits.
